This training with Becky Stoll from Centerstone will give an overview of the key concepts in the follow up, caring contacts and care coordination components of the Zero Suicide model of care.
Objectives:
- Recognize why FU and CC is critical to good outcomes for students as they transition back to school after a suicidal crisis
- Learn about key concepts and strategies for implementing best practices and protocols as part of the transition process back to an educational setting for student in outpatient mental health care and/or leaving an inpatient psychiatric setting
- Learn from examples used in care coordination to address suicidality in students
- Consider next steps for adoption in your organization
About the trainer:
Becky Stoll, Vice President for Crisis and Disaster Management Centerstone
Ms. Stoll Becky Stoll is responsible for the operation of Centerstone’s Crisis Call Center, Mobile Crisis Outreach Teams, Suicide Prevention efforts and Disaster Mental Health Management services. Ms. Stoll holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Tennessee and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She has 30 years of national and international behavioral health experience and is a recognized leader in the areas of crisis services, disaster mental health, and suicide prevention. Ms. Stoll has spoken at the White House and been quoted in Time magazine, USA Today, and the Washington Post to name a few. She serves on the Board of Directors for the American Association of Suicidology as the Crisis Service Division Chair, National Suicide Prevention Lifeline’s Steering Committee, and Tennessee Suicide Prevention Network’s Governor- appointed Advisory Council.
